As a packaging supplier, we are committed to transitioning to supplying only products that are made from recycled materials; packaging that is recyclable; products that are able to be re-used; or products that are compostable. We actively seek out suppliers who adhere to this way of thinking and are changing their product offerings to reflect our strong environmental sustainability goals.
We will continue to work towards reducing our environmental impact and provide products that help our customers achieve this goal by:

We will continue to search for new sustainable products, reducing our carbon footprint by purchasing as locally as possible. We continuously introduce new sustainable products as they become available. We're committed to helping your business reduce its environmental impact—without compromising performance.
What does Cabot do to reduce its own carbon footprint?
Hybrid Fleet
All of our vehicles are now hybrids, reducing emissions and fuel consumption.
LED Lighting
All light bulbs used at our location are LED, lasting much longer and using less power.
Reduced Film Consumption
We have reduced pallet stretch film consumption by using a very thin gauge, high-performance stretch film on all wrapped pallets.
Packaging Re-use
We re-use as much packaging as possible, minimising waste.
Buying Locally
The more we support each other locally, the more sustainable all of our businesses will be. Cabot employs 20 full time Nova Scotians, who all support the local economy with their hard-earned dollars. Farmers markets, restaurants, theatres, sports organisations all benefit!
Supporting Our Community
Cabot is proud to support many local charities such as Hope Blooms, The Chester Playhouse, Bonny Lea Farm, Phoenix House, Feed Nova Scotia, The North Grove, Souls Harbour Rescue Mission, Neptune Theatre, Adsum House, Big Brother's-Big Sister's, Shelter NS, Canadian Red Cross and more.
